1st Day of Daycare

Trigg,
Today was a hard day! I took you to your 1st day at daycare b/c I had to go back to work. After I got you all settled with the staff and the paper work, it took me about 10 minutes to finally leave. I thought I was going to be strong for you but once I got in the car I cried all the way to work. I really missed you. I was so afraid you would be sad or upset when you woke up and didn't see my face. I called to check on you and your teacher, Mrs. Kelly, said you were doing good. I barley made it to lunch time before I was on my way to visit you. You had just got done eating and was just about to fall asleep but you got to see me for a minute. I picked you up and you had a big smile on your face, then I rocked you to sleep. I went back to work and you went back to napping.

I made you this poster, which hangs above your crib at daycare, so you could see your family everyday!

You were styling your 1st day! Your teachers loved your shoes and couldn't stop talking about how cute you are. Handsome devil!

A picture with mommy, I needed something to last me through the day.

I finally came to get you after work and you were so happy to see me. You just lit up. Your teachers said you did really well, just slept and hung out all day. I am proud of you for being such a good boy on your 1st day. I know that this will get easier for us both as the days go on, but just know, no matter where you are I love you and am always thinking of you!

Love you,
Mommy

Obsessed

I am completely obsessed with Trigg's feet. They are so small and soft that I just can't get enough of them. I love everything about him but his feet are just so precious. When he sleeps they just curl up so tight into his body and he goes from 22 inches long to 10 inches long. :)

He has play time on his mat for a little bit everyday but just the other night he has started to interact with the toys attached. He was grabbing at the toys a few times. I have got to get the camcorder out and ready for these things. Camera's just don't capture some of the things, and with the delay, it makes it even harder :)

Yeah Trigg on learning to reach and grab at things. (6 weeks old)

Park then some Putt-Putt

Yesterday was another nice day so we decided to get out and enjoy it. I only have a few more days till I go back to work and won't be able to do this much or at all. :) Ryan got off work early due to the rain so we all got to spend a family day together. It was nice.

We started at the park. Kaid had a good time feeding the ducks & geese...

This was funny, Kaid was talking to the geese b/c the geese were talking to him!

Trigg was loving being outside. When I feed him the breeze was blowing and he just smiled as the wind blew through his hair. So cute.

Isn't my hubby just so HOT!!!!!!!!! This however is not my best photo but still my hubby is HOTTTTTT! :) hehe

Later that evening Ryan's parents treated us to some putt-putt golf and then ice cream. We had such a good time.

Trigg watching his daddy play some golf

Then it was Trigg's turn to putt :)

Ryan beat us all but we told Kaid that he won! Ryan's dad, Chuck, got a hole in one on the 18th hole so he got a free game of golf. He gave it to Kaid so since we had such a good time last night we are going again tonight! I forgot how fun putt-putt is...I actually forgot how fun anything was since we don't get to do much because Ryan and I act so old and stay home alot :) Not anymore!

Date Night, Day for Kaid & Crafts...

This weekend was a pretty packed weekend for us, which is a change to our lazy pace the past few weeks. Trigg & Kaid stayed at their Ge-Ge's house Friday night so that Ryan & I could have a little date night. Since Ryan doesn't get off work until later, we only had time for a movie, so we went to see The Hangover. Can I just say the funniest movie of the year at least. This was so funny I almost pee-ed my pants. :) hehe

It was nice to get out just the two of us but right after the movie I had to go pick up Trigg. Kaid wanted to stay the night so we let him but Trigg came home.

Then Saturday we my MIL watched Trigg again for us so that we could spend the day with Kaid. We went to the pool and then for snow cones. It was a nice day outside but a little cold after you get out of the water b/c of the breeze. Ryan and I got a little sun burnt but it was nice to layout and swim. Kaid spent most of his time jumping off the diving board. He likes to jump.

This is Kaid's snow cone face...It's amazing how kids get it all over their face and not just in the mouth.

Then Sunday I did a craft project I saw on HGTV. It's canvas, scrapbook paper and sealer. Makes a home-aid piece of art. It was the first one and i a, not that crafty but i think its not bad and its good enough to get me buy till i can buy something to put there.

What we been doing

Like I said before it's really hard to get a post done these days but things are starting to get easier. We have a routine now and most of my things I needed to do are caught up so now I can focus on other things. I go back to work on July 27th and let me tell you that I am not ready to leave him. His daycare is only 2 blocks from my work so that is nice but just the thought of him being away from me for 8 hrs of the day makes me want to cry. I will be dropping in on him so he will see me but still it's not the same. I will be strong for my little man, I will just keep my mind on the positive advantages of him being at this wonderful daycare, socialization, and the educational program they have is amazing. I know they will help aid in making my boy a smart, well rounded boy.

What have we been doing these last few weeks? Well not much but hanging out, taking care of reorganizing the household, spending quality time with Trigg & Kaid, and making a routine.

I finally got Trigg's announcement's sent out a few weeks ago.

My little man turned 1 month old on Saturday July 11th! I can't believe it has been a month, oh how time flys. He has already started to change and grow so fast. When he was first born he looked identical to me when I was a newborn but now he looks so much like Ryan and even looks like his brother Kaid. Boy how we love our little man so much.

Happy 1 month!

Also on this past Saturday we went to Mandy & Justin's b-day BBQ. Mandy's b-day is July 1st & Justin's is July 9th so every year they throw a BBQ to celebrate them both. We had a blast hanging out with everyone since Trigg and I don't get out of the house much during the week b/c it's so hot.

My girlfriends!
Between us girls we have 7 boys so you can only imagine our hang outs, they are never boring. Two of our friends are trying to have another baby, you can probably guess who since Mandy & I just had one it's not us, so we are all hoping for a girl to offset all the boys.

Proud Parents!

Trigg getting an early riding lesson from dad! This was so funny...

Kaid being sweet on his baby brother! Kaid has just the biggest heart and is such a great big brother. Love you Kaid!

Hope everyone is enjoying what's left of the summer and staying cool!
