Where to Begin...

It has been almost 4 months since my last post and I can't believe I have let it go so long. SOOOOOOO much has happened since then, I have no idea where to start!

In the last few months we have had some great times and some struggles. Ryan was laid off from his long time job of 5 1/2 years, then found another construction company but 3 months after that he was laid off again. So now he is at a new company and is about to finish his 3rd month for them and even though he took a huge pay cut, it looks promising in the sense that he will be able to keep the job. :) With all the layoffs and pay cuts things have been ruff financially, which I am sure is every body's story these days. We knew we had a busy summer a head of us with a lot of things that were going to cost money.

Getting to the summer...Trigg turned 1 year old on June 11th! We had his 1st birthday party on June 5th. We did Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme...he loved it. Trigg is walking full blown now and doing so many other things. I am so lucky to have Trigg in my life and am just amazed everyday at how much he is growing and becoming a little man. My mom's side of the family came into town for his party! It was so great having them here.

The following weekend we had Ryan's 10 year High School Reunion. This was very interesting to say the least. We are still friends with several of Ryan's high school buddies so that was nice being able to all go together and know each other today. We ended up having a blast but I really do think that SHS could have done a lot more in making it more memorable and/or exciting! It was at the Aloft Hotel in Rogers. We found our own way of making fun!

Now for the next weekend I had my entire family on my dad's side come to visit. This was going to be an adventure for sure. There would be a total of 15 people including the 4 of us all staying at our house. We have a nice size house for a small family but not really the room for a huge family. We made it work. We eneded up taking some family pictures during thier stay and we celebrated Kaid's 8th birthday as well as my grandma's birthday! I loved seeing them and am so glad they came.

Kaid is such a big boy and it just blows my mind that he is already 8 years old and about to go into 3rd grade. He is such a sweet, sweet boy and I love him to peices!

That brings me to now...we are all just busy little bodies working and having fun this summer. I am hoping to stay on top of my blog better than I have been so there are not such long posts!

9 Months

Trigg is 9 months today! I can not believe that he is already so big, only 3 months and he will be 1 year old. I have loved watching him grow and learn new things. He is such a smart boy and just the best thing God could have given me :)

What he is doing:

-crawls everywhere
-can pull himself up on just about anything
-can walk along his crib while holding onto it
-babbles
-can say dada but has only said it twice :)
-says mama about 15 million times a day (and I love every time he does it)
-smiles all the time
-sticks his tongue out
-still only has the two bottom teeth
-weights 20lbs
-sleeps in his crib in his room (and sometimes w/ mama)
-is eating baby snack food more along w/ the baby food and formula
-loves to play the game who can scream the loudest
-gives hugs and kiss like they are going out of style
-shakes his head no
-hair has lightened up to a sandy blonde
-still has those beautiful baby blues
-still loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and pretty much anything that has music
-drinks out of a sippy cup
-has a big boy car seat now and is no longer in his carrier
-wearing 12 months clothes and even some 18 month
-wears size 3 shoe
-bites everything (even people...but that's b/c it feels good to his teeth and not b/c he's mean)
-wears size 3 diaper still

and lots more but there is just to much to list.

We have been busy and not busy and I will update w/ more of what we have been doing hopefully soon! Time flys :)

Long time no blog

Wow, I can't believe it has been since October that I last posted. I have just been so busy with work and my family. Trigg is now 6 months old.

-wearing size 3 diaper
-weights 16lbs 8oz.
-wears 6-9 months clothes
-two bottom teeth
-can say mama and move his mouth like he wants to say more
-can rollover both ways
-can sit up on his own for about 30 secs to a minute
-stands like no body's business
-has his own personality already
-loves, loves, loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
-snuggles all the time
-still sleeping in his pack n play crib in our bedroom :)

I just can't believe how big he is getting and how fast! Amazing. Kaid is doing great too. He is losing his teeth left and right. It's funny, Kaid is losing them and Trigg is getting them. This will be the first Christmas w/ both the boys so we are super excited!

Below are some pictures of the boys from the past few months. I hope to blog more often from this point on but sometimes time slips away from me :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Mama

Trigg said his first word on October 26th...MAMA!
That's right, not dada, but Mama. I was so happy to hear this. He has been mumbling and making noise's for several weeks and we kept hearing the M sound in his cooing so we have been working with him on saying mama and sure enough he said it. He said it yesterday at his nanny's house, then again twice last night to my brother and then he said it to me this morning!

I am so proud of my little man, and I love this feeling right now!
Halloween! What a great holiday. I took the boys to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and Kaid picked out two pumpkins for him and his brother Trigg. I will be posting those pics later (they are on my other computer). Ryan carved the boys pumpkins this last weekend. Kaid wanted a gargole, dragon like one and then we picked a cute pumpkin face for Trigg. Ryan did such a good job on these! It took him two days to do them but it was worth the wait.

Spooky! :)

Then it was a mini photo session!

We indroduced solid foods to Trigg this past weekend. We started with one of momma's faviorte's pees. I love pees but I do have to say that all smashed up they are not very appealing. Trigg likes them and has no allergies to them so far. Yea!

It is so fun feeding him and watching all his funny faces he makes. They say not to judge whether a baby likes the food by his/her face b/c it's a new texture and taste so there will be faces but by if he/she opens their mouth for an encore. Well this is so funny b/c I was feeding Trigg some pees for lunch at Ryan's parents house and he was on his like 5th bite when all of a sudden his right arm went up into the air, his face became so serious with his cheeks pushed out and his lips puckered, he was concentrating on the spoon so hard, and without a warning down came his arm and the spoon went flying and pees went all over him and me. It was so funny!

Luckly he opened his mouth for more so I didn't take that as a sign he was done with pees. Good stuff!

Here are just some random shots of Trigg and his daddy!

Ohhhh, I so tired but I don't want to go to sleep!

Love my daddy!
